The Northern Superior is an extremely comfortable featherbed with a perfect amount of fluff and depth. It is a less expensive alternative to the Northern Ultimate but really offers a lot for your dollar at the high end of luxury featherbeds. This featherbed consists of a 40/60 ratio of down to small feathers which is a much higher down ratio than almost all featherbeds on the market. With a 700+ fill power and a 5″ depth at full loft you could practically use a board for a mattress and still be comfy.
